We take pride in serving the city of Kingsport and the surrounding Tri-Cities area. Founded in 2019 as a CrossFit affiliate on Main Street in Kingsport, Tennessee, we are strong in our beliefs that a solid program of fundamental but challenging workouts with great coaching, along with proper nutritional planning, is the key to overall fitness.
Our Mission at CrossFit RailBirds is to foster a community where people can come together and support each other’s greater journey to develop a stronger and more resilient mind, body and soul. Our Vision is to provide a welcoming atmosphere where people can be themselves and feel supported no matter where they are on their fitness journey. We are here to provide our community with a caring, welcoming and fun (but competitive) environment in which they can succeed and reach their health and fitness goals in order to assist them in living longer, healthier and happier lives. Our values focus on safety, flexibility, teaching, encouragement, celebration, honesty, and continual improvement in all we do.
CrossFit Railbirds’ training facility is over 3,000 square foot of air-conditioned space in the heart of downtown Kingsport. We have a clean, open floor space with all the equipment necessary to properly train and excel in any CrossFit workout. Our location also provides our members access to bathroom facilities with private showers for men and women.
We offer group training, personal training and/or programming, and nutritional consultations.
All of our training methods are scalable and open to all levels of fitness, from beginner to masters. As CrossFit Inc. states, “the needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind.”
We also provide Kid Care during two classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for those that need supervised care for their children.

We offer several different class times throughout the week that will more than meet the needs of a busy professional and/or family.
Our class sessions are one hour, and each session includes a warm-up with instruction, a skill or strength session, and a CrossFit Workout of the Day, followed up by a cool down stretch. Throughout this hour, you will receive focused coaching to ensure safety, form, and maximum effort for every movement. Our CrossFit workouts are less expensive than personal trainer sessions, more challenging and fun than general aerobics class — and help to increase your overall strength for functional movements that you use most every day. We teach you functional fitness that you will use throughout your entire life, and we teach it in a fun, safe manner that will encourage you, test you, and leave you amazed at your own capabilities.

WHAT DOES MEMBERSHIP LOOK LIKE
If you are working toward a specific goal, or desire individual coaching, we offer full service Private Personal Training programs.
Your program will begin with a complete assessment of your current physical capabilities, history and goals. The assessment phase may take one or several sessions during which your coach will evaluate movement patterns, range of motion, strength levels, structural balance and any limitations. Your coach will also work with you to determine your training goals and priorities. This information lays the groundwork for developing your training program.
